


About Our Members
The Consortium's founding organizational members include the following:
Merced Faculty Associates: A group of private practice physicians located at 240
East 13th Street in Merced, provides primary care and operates the local family
medicine residency program. Dr. Charlie Kano serves as the organizational
representative to the consortium and Consortium Board Secretary.
Livingston Medical Group: A Federally Qualified Health Center, located at 1140
Main St, in Livingston, provides primary care services to local residents. Cora
Gonzales, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, serves as the organizational
representative, and the Board Chairperson.
Merced County Human Services Agency: our county entity administering over 50
social service programs is located at 2115 West Wardrobe Way, in Merced.
Kathryn Hassett, Deputy Director, serves as the organizational representative.
Mercy Medical Center Merced: Merced's acute care hospital facility, is located at
301 E. 13th Street(Acute Care Services) and 2740 M Street (Mercy Outpatient
Center). Chuck Kassis, Vice President, Operations, serves as the organizational
representative to the Consortium, and the Board Vice Chairperson.
Castle Family Health Centers: A group of three Rural Health Centers in Atwater
and Winton, provide primary and specialty care to local residents. Ed Lujano,
CEO, serves as the organizational representative, and is the Past Board Chair for
the Consortium.
Golden Valley Health Centers: A Federally Qualified Health Center with sites
Located in Merced, Planada, Los Banos, and Dos Palos, provides primary care
services to the residents of Merced County. Michael Sullivan, CEO, serves as the
organizational representative and as the Consortium Board Treasurer.
Merced County Department of Public Health: located at 260 E. 15th St., provides
regulation, health education and professional services to Merced County
residents. John Volanti, Director, serves as the organizational representative.
