Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and learn more about the
Merced County Health Care Consortium. I would personally like to thank
the Charter Members for their continued vision and commitment to
improving access and the quality of health care for the residents of
Merced County.
We have accomplished many of our goals for 2010, including nearing the
completion of the planning phase for the Building Healthy Communities
initiative funded by The California Endowment. We are still a small
organization with the potential to grow and assist other organizations
throughout Merced County with expanding their capacity to serve the
myriad of needs our residents have while assisting our residents in making
structural and policy changes in their individual communities. We have
developed an exciting work plan for 2010 and have already successfully
secured funding for our upcoming Child Injury Prevention Program. Please
check the projects page for updates on important issues that affect our
roles as social service and health care providers.
